This is the first book in the Daisy the Dachshund Children’s Series. In this adventure, readers meet Daisy and her family for the first time and learn the importance of taking care of a new puppy while Daisy learns the importance of minding her owners who always have her best interest at heart. 

 In this “dogumentary”, at age 11, Daisy suffers from a condition causing her to lose all mobility. After two days at the Veterinarian, she was stable but still could not move. No one knew if she would have a full recovery or not. Her family took her home and provided round-the-clock care for the first few weeks. She slowly began moving her head, then wagging her tail. A few days after that, she began trying to roll over and crawl again. This “pawsitive” “tail” shows her inspiring will to overcome all obstacles put in her way so she could get back to living the way she had before.
